How can coaching help me?

Coaching is a way of giving yourself space to express yourself and explore what’s important. In a very short time, you can expect to notice benefits such as increased self-awareness, self-compassion, creativity, feeling ‘lighter’ (that’s the most common feedback I hear!), more like yourself again, and more resilient and confident. New perspectives often come to light which can be transformational.

People who work with me often find it easier to communicate clearly and confidently and find that relationships improve.

How do I know if I’m ready to get started with coaching?

From experience, when something keeps calling to us, it’s time to pay attention! Life may get in the way, or there may never seem to be a ‘right’ time… although if you are reading this page you are already taking a step. You may like to ask yourself: What if I do take action… what might be possible? And what if I don’t… in 2 or 3 years’ time, what will that be like?

I offer a complimentary call, with no obligation, so you have a chance to explore it with me. We will discuss what’s important to you and I will take you through how I work. You can then decide if you want to go ahead.

Why do you recommend a minimum of 3 sessions?

Coaching involves a partnership to explore and work on what’s important to you, and to bring sustainable results and learning. Often different themes and patterns comes up which are useful to understand. To get the best results from this investment, most clients have 3-6 sessions as a minimum. Some clients have ongoing regular sessions, for example quarterly or twice a year, because they value the time and space for themselves and find it helps them to navigate through challenges and opportunities and feel aligned again.

Will you give me advice and tell me what I should do?

My job is to help you to discover insights and solutions for yourself – you are empowered as the expert in your own life. I work in a facilitative style, listening closely and asking questions, because it works! That’s how clients I’ve worked with have made progress and brought about significant changes in their lives.

Occasionally I may make a suggestion or offer insights – if I do, it will be up to you what you do with that, if anything.
